Corporate Video Promotion Rising in Popularity

Corporate video promotion is one area which has grown in leaps and bounds in the last 3 years. This is mainly due to the availability of video portals such as YouTube which provide the facility to upload video to their web site. Some of the other popular video web portals include Metacafe, Vimeo, Metacafe and Dailymotion. The use of YouTube and other such video portals for creating business promotional videos has nearly tripled in the last couple of years.

Many companies have now invested in their own YouTube channel, this is where they can directly stream videos to customers and clients who have signed up to this service. Channels have become ever more popular with even the British Royal Family having their own channel.

There was a time when people used to log on to the internet simply to browse through pages and pages of text information. That was some 5 years back. With the takeover of YouTube by Google in the year 2006, things started changing dramatically and users started to shift towards video portals for information about an incident.

With the use of the internet for viewing multimedia content on the rise, business owners have been successfully promoting their products and services through videos uploaded into internet sites. One of the main reasons for the huge popularity of the video portals is that the user can actually feel the content by actually looking at the moving images on screen. In addition to the moving pictures, the videos have the ability to mix animation with live images. When the user sees such attractive videos, the curiosity quotient of the user is increased and the user wants to know more about the service provider.

When a business owner has decided to produce a video to promote their services and products, the first things they need to do is to look for experienced business promotional video producers. After video production has been completed, the business owners have to review the content created. One of the main things to review is the buffering rate. Buffering rate is the rate at which the videos are rendered over the internet web site. If the buffering rate is too slow, the users will lose interest in seeing the video. Thus within the first few seconds, users will decide whether to continue watching the video or quit. Another thing to check is the text and the font used to create those texts. Video text should be clearly visible to the user and easily readable.
